Why do I volunteer at HFHC? Seeing the joy on a family’s face when they see the community come together to make their dreams come true, makes me feel thankful to be part of a great organization.   It’s rewarding to belong to a team that has a direct, positive impact on our community.

I joined the board of Habitat for Humanity here in Claremore, because I see the good it does in our local community.  It is extremely important to give and serve abroad, but we are also called to take care of those in our town. Habitat provides a great place for people to connect and fill needs immediately.

I was exposed to Habitat for Humanity through my employment with Hilti.  It was through that experience that I was drawn to volunteer my time and talents to make a positive impact in families working hard to improve their lives through home ownership. First and foremost, I endeavor to put God’s love into action and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ.

My passion is helping families buy a home. Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Claremore allows me to help families that would not be able to otherwise own a home. I take care of a lot of the fundraising and public relations for our Habitat chapter, I absolutely love being a cheerleader for our mission.

A little over a year ago I asked to join the Claremore Habitat for Humanity board because I am passionate about public service and giving back to the community.  I couldn't imagine a better way to do that than to help provide adequate and stable housing for our local families.   Providing a good home, builds stronger and healthier families, and unites our community.  Let's build together!

I love to participate HFH as a volunteer worker at building sites.

Being an advocate of HFH and recruiting volunteer workers are fun parts of my role at HFH.
